Using the App

The app is provided for personal, non-commercial study and reflection. You may share verse cards and quotes freely; you may not redistribute translations, commentary, or audio in bulk without permission.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login secure. Accounts inactive for over 3 years may be archived; we'll always email first.

Subscriptions

Premium renews automatically until cancelled from Settings. Cancelling stops future billing but keeps access until the current period ends. No partial refunds for unused time, except where required by law.

The AI Guide

Answers are grounded in referenced verses but are guidance, not professional medical, legal, or mental-health advice. If you're in crisis, please contact a licensed professional or local emergency services.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app grows. Material changes are announced in-app before they take effect.

Clear Answers for Curious Minds

Everything you need to know about Gita Minute, from learning and features to your daily Gita journey.

Is the app really free?

Yes. The daily verse, plain translation, reflection journal, and bookmarks are free, forever. Premium adds full audio, all three commentary schools, offline mode, and guided reading plans.

Do I need to know Sanskrit or the Gita already?

Not at all. Every verse leads with a plain-English translation and a short story-frame. Sanskrit, transliteration, and word-by-word meanings are there if you want them, never required.

Does it work offline?

Free accounts need a connection to fetch each day's verse and sync your journal. Premium unlocks full offline mode, so your reading plan and audio are available with no signal.

Is my journal & reflection data private?

Yes. Your check-ins and reflections are encrypted and never sold or used to train models without your explicit opt-in. You can export or delete your data at any time.

Which commentary traditions are included?

We show three classical schools, Śaṅkara (Advaita), Rāmānuja (Viśiṣṭādvaita), and Madhva (Dvaita), as distinct views side by side, never blended or oversimplified.

Which platforms is it available on?

Gita Minute is available today on iOS and Android, with your progress synced across devices through your account.

How does the AI guide decide what to say?

The AI guide answers only from the verse text and the three commentary traditions in our library, and always cites the passage it's drawing from rather than improvising.

Can I cancel Premium anytime?

Yes. Cancel in a couple of taps from Settings whenever you like, you'll keep Premium access until the end of your current billing period.
